since和because的区别
since和because的区别：两者词性、含义和侧重点不同。在词性上，since的词性有介词、连词、副词和名词四种，because的词性只有连词一种。在含义上，since的意思是“自从；自…以后”，because的意思是“因为”。在侧重点上，because是从属连词，语意强，着重直接的原因或理由，since语意比because弱。

since和for的区别
1、用法不同。这两个词都可以和表示时间的词语连用。一般说来，for后接一段时间（累计时间），用以说明某事一直进行了多长时间；而since后接某一时间（过去的一个时间点），用以表示某件事开始的时间。
2、语气不同。since和for均含有“因为”之意。但是for作为并列连词，语气较弱，所引出的句子一般放在后面，表示附带说明的理由或推断理由。since比for语气稍强，一般用于表示“由于大家已知的事实”。
